Vivek Hotel, a well-known hospitality destination in Ratnagiri, has recently taken a major step toward sustainability by adopting solar energy. With a long-standing commitment to quality service and guest comfort, the hotel is now extending its vision to environmental responsibility by investing in clean energy solutions.

We commissioned a 60 KW solar system on the hotel’s rooftop metal sheet structures. Over the system’s lifetime, this is projected to offset carbon emissions equivalent to planting 56,350 teak trees or mitigating 35,650 tonnes of CO₂. To ensure long-term stability and reliability, the installation uses a high-strength aluminium alloy Balance of System (BoS) structure, designed to withstand local weather conditions while maintaining efficiency.

For the hospitality sector, transitioning to solar energy brings clear advantages: significant cost savings on electricity, reduced dependence on conventional utilities, and insulation from market price fluctuations. By generating its own clean power, Vivek Hotel not only lowers operating expenses but also reinforces its reputation as a forward-thinking, eco-conscious establishment.
